Seymour Recreation's Summer Camp will take place at Bungay School! There will be a mixture of supervised free play and scheduled group activities while following the OEC, CDC, and Local Health department guidelines. Age appropriate activities in the areas of sports, games, team building, and arts & crafts will be included. Your child will be placed in age appropriate groups and assigned a counselor who will get to know your child throughout the summer. The program highlights are listed below.
2021 Summer Camp:
~ Masks must be worn at all times while inside with the exception of eating and swimming. See mask policy below.
~ Camp will follow OEC and CDC Guidelines
~ Free Play and scheduled group activities throughout the day
~ On-Site Special Events (K-9 Unit, Adventure Bound (Game Show),Circle K
Farm, Summer Cookout, Carnival Day, IceCream Emergency, and Foamalicous!)
~ Weekly Swimming, Field Trips and the Ice Cream Truck
~ Pizza Fridays available for purchase
~ Counselors certified in First Aid, CPR and Concussion Training
~ Free T-shirt to be worn on all field trips
~ Easy drop off and pick up from car at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm – similar to
~ Sibling discount after 2nd child
We believe all our town children should be able to participate in our summer program and that no one should be turned away due to their inability to pay.
Financial Assistance and payment plans are available. Forms can be found below. To be considered all forms must be submitted to Seymour Community Services by May 15 and the child must be registered online without checking out. Forms received after May 15th will be considered if funding has not been depleted. All questions should be directed to the Community Center at 203-888-0406.
CAMPER ACCOUNT INFORMATION REQUIRED
To expedite registration, please update each individual child's account accordingly:
Please review and update each child's account information for accuracy by logging into your account, click on add/edit account and then click on the child's name. You will need to do this for each child even if they have the same emergency contacts.
FOR PLAYGROUND WE REQUIRE:
*List/Update the primary parent or guardian
*List/Update TWO Emergency Contacts & phone numbers on each camper's account.
*List any allergies/medical conditions for your camper
*Under Allergies/medical conditions, list if camper may need to self-administer any medications. (A separate form will be required for you & your child's physician to complete).
In an emergency, every attempt will be made to contact the parent or guardian listed on the account. If we are unable to reach the parent or guardian listed, we will contact the emergency contacts listed in the order entered.
Field Trip & Additional Waivers
There is no In-office registration.
Registration must be done online by a parent or guardian.
All field trips must be paid on line. Staff are not allowed to accept payments. NO REFUNDS will be given once trip is paid.
