The Danbury Fair was an annual extravaganza that began in 1869 and captivated people around the region for over a century. There was something for everyone to enjoy, whether it was the thrilling rides, the big top events, the exhilarating races, or the enticing midway attractions. The festive villages and daily parade added to the excitement, making it a beloved tradition for generations.
Sadly, the Danbury Fair ended with an estimated 400,000 attendees bidding farewell to this iconic event. The Danbury Fair Mall now stands in its place.
