Join us for a gentle, low-impact Tai Chi class designed specifically for Active Adults (50+). Key Benefits: Improved Balance and Fall Prevention: Regular practice trains proprioception (the body's ability to sense its position in space) and strengthens leg muscles, which can reduce your risk of falls by as much as 50%. Increased Strength and Flexibility: The smooth, continuous movements help build muscle strength in both the upper and lower body and improve joint flexibility without stressing your joints. Pain Reduction: Tai Chi has been shown to be effective in reducing chronic pain associated with conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, and back pain. Enhanced Mental Well-being: The meditative aspect of Tai Chi helps to clear the mind, relieve stress, lower blood pressure, and can improve cognitive function and mood.
