Ways of Listening: The music of Mozart

In this program we focus on hearing Mozart’s greatest music more deeply and appreciating its beauty and its meanings. How does it work? What does it say? Why is it so great and so beloved? We explore these questions in a one-hour presentation using video clips of performances, animation, and live demonstrations at the piano. It is entirely non-technical
and accessible to anyone with an interest in the appreciation of great music.

Lunch will be provided.

Presented by David Stein

theory at Columbia University and music therapy
at New York University. David has a degree in

for over 50 years.
