Applications for Summer Employment is now closed. Individuals can continue to submit applications and MAY be considered for hire based on camper registrations. If a 2nd round of interviews takes place you will be considered at the end of May.

Seymour Playground Camp is a Town Sponsored Summer Camp.  Over 200 children attend this program which for 2018 will run from June 25- August 10,  8:30 am - 2:30 pm.  
We are hiring for the following positions (full job descriptions are listed in the forms below):
  -
Head Counselor
  - Camp Counselor
  - Art Instructor
  - Counselor in Training (CIT) - Registration Opens Tuesday, March 20th 

Process: 
1. Returning staff that complete and return their application by the April 6th deadline will
    be considered before new applicants. If we do not receive a returning staff application
    by April 6, 2019 we will assume that you are not interested in applying.
2.
Once we have determined the number of returning staff we will review new employee
    applications. It is best to submit your application as soon as possible as most interviews
    will take place at the beginning of May. 
3.
Camp runs from June 25 – August 10.  All counselors are expected to commit to
   the entire Camp session.
 In addition, tentative dates for training have been set for
   June 21 and/or June 22. 
   Counselors are required to participate in these training.

CIT's must work a minimum of 5 weeks, including the first two weeks of Camp. The
    remaining 3 weeks can be selected when submitting an application. 
2.
New applicants are interviewed in early May and positions are offered by Mid May.
3. If you do not receive an interview or an offer we will retain your application on file for
    the summer. If an opening occurs we may contact you for an interview or to fill a    
    vacant spot.
4.
Communication with prospective employees is done by email. It is essential that you
    provide a valid email address and check the address frequently.
