Seymour Recreation Camp is a Town Sponsored Summer Camp that runs from June 23rd - August 1st. Roughly 200 children attend per session. Mon-Fri from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm (9 am - 1 pm for Pre K). Seymour Recreation Counselor in Training (CIT) Program The CIT program is a great opportunity for Seymour 9th & 10th graders to gain hands-on experience as a future Camp Counselor. Program Goal: CITs will assist Senior Counselors in planning, leading activities, and ensuring the safety and fun of campers. Through this, they will develop leadership, child safety, and conflict resolution skills. CITs may be considered for future counselor positions. Expectations:  Work alongside a Senior Counselor to support campers and lead activities. CITs will be evaluated at the end of each session to ensure they are meeting the goals and requirements of the position. Requirements: CIT Requirement: Participants must attend 2 - 2 week sessions.
