Registration Opens April 15th, Price Increase on May 2nd!

If your child is currently (2023-2024 School Year) in Grades K - 5, your child is eligible for this camp. If your child is entering Kindergarten choose our preschool camp.

Seymour Summer Recreation Camp is for residents only and runs 6 weeks each summer.

Camp Registration takes place from April 15 - June 10.

~ Easy drop-off/pick-up from car at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm at Bungay
~ Counselors certified in First Aid, CPR and Concussion Training
~ Free Play and scheduled group activities throughout the day
~ Weekly Calendar (Swim, Field Trips, Free Pizza Friday, Special Events)
~ Free T-shirt to be worn on all field trips

SWIMMING - MUST REGISTER SEPARATELY

Swimming occurs each Thursday at Seymour High School - must register separately (no added cost)
Children must be comfortable in the water and be able to mauver the shallow end on their own - counselors do not go in the water.
Floatation devices are not allowed.
If your child is not registered to swim they may stay at camp and there will be activities for those that remain each Thursday.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE/PAYMENT PLANS

Payment plans are available. Instructions can be found below. To be considered the child must be registered online without checking out AND all payment plan request forms must be submitted to Seymour Community Services. A child may not start camp unless payment plan is paid in full prior to start of camp. A $25 fee will be applied to all payment plans.
Limited Financial Assistance is available. Forms can be found below. To be considered the child must be registered online without checking out AND all forms AND back up documents must be submitted to Seymour Community Services by May 1 (no exceptions).

By May 1 $400/6 weeks (breaks down to $66/week) + Field Trips
Between May 2 - 14 $500/6 weeks (breaks down to $83/week) + Field Trips
After May 14 $600/6 weeks (breaks down to $100/week) + Field Trips
Sibling discount after 2nd child ($150 discount for third child in this program - discount not applied across to Pre-K and/or Middle School Camps)
