Give your children this unique opportunity to see and apply, hands-on and while having fun, the science theories they study in class. Science is an essential subject in your kids’ curriculum, yet it can be hard to grasp without seeing its practical applications. Mad Science programs are synchronized with CT’s curriculum and are NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) compliant.
Grades (K-1)- Fall Fun STEM Put on your science goggles and come on a Science Adventure! Scientists in Training will gain a basic understanding of all different areas of science while doing intriguing, hands on, experiments! This program covers everything from cool dry ice to hot air balloons, from dinosaurs to a rocket launch that is out of this world, and much more! Every student receives a lab coat, goggles, and specially designed Mad Science Take Homes to help extend learning at home!
Grades (2-5)- NASA's Milky Way Mission
Take one small step and one giant leap in this “phenomenal” NASA designed program. This unique journey of our Milky Way Galaxy will have students using new technology, equipment, and gear used by real astronauts! They will witness an engine powered rocket launch and create a comet made up of items just like the comets in space! Students will be engaging in hands on experiments while gaining the basic knowledge of astronomy, engineering, and physics! Every student receives a lab coat, goggles, and specially designed Mad Science Take Homes to help extend learning at home!
