Medication errors affect an estimated 1.5 million people every year. Both prescription medication and over-the-medicine can be harmful if not taken properly.
Prevention begins at home with tips we can all use to ensure that our medication does not end up in the wrong hands.
During this workshop you will learn:




  • How to secure their prescription medication and prevent theft and diversio


  • How to safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications


  • Information on prescription pain medication and the risk of addiction and overdose


  • Upon request drug destruction pouches will be made available for disposal of medication at home.
