Free Diabetes Prevention Program

Griffin Hospital will be offering a Free Diabetes Prevention Program at the Seymour Community Center.
The program helps you learn how to change your lifestyle to prevent type 2 diabetes.
Have you been told by a health care professional about the following: You are
-A risk for getting diabetes
-Have pre-diabetes
-Have borderline diabetes
-Have high blood sugar or glucose
-Had gestational diabetes
The Diabetes Prevention Program can help you make a change in your life. Groups meet for 16 weekly sessions and six monthly follow-up sessions with a trained Lifestyle Coach. The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20th, from 2-3 pm
The program is open to all age groups.
